    PORTFOLIO

My name is Rita Allawi, and my photography journey began in 2016. It started with nature shots, and it was my dad — who recognized my passion early on — that encouraged me to pursue it seriously. At just 15, I held my first gallery and sold over 150 photos, and that moment sparked something bigger.

Since then, I’ve photographed weddings, baptisms, newborns, maternity, and model portfolios — and every session has been a new story to tell. I even dip into food photography from time to time, always bringing the same creative eye and attention to detail.

I also gained experience working with Photos Unlimited, but two years ago, I decided to build something of my own — a professional photography business where every client feels seen, heard, and celebrated.

Whether you have a clear vision or just a dream, let’s chat about what you’re looking for and bring it to life together.

Your moments matter — and I’m here to capture them beautifully .

    PORTFOLIO

Operating under the moniker Grey Hills Studio, Sara Kuefler is a Calgary based photographer. Her fondness for capturing images began with plastic point and shoot cameras as early as grade 2. Progressing in sophistication with the acquisition of her 35mm Canon SLR at the end of high school, followed by dark room classes at the University of Calgary, Sara has been seriously engaged in photography for 2 decades.

While her preferred subject matter has gone through several evolutions over time, currently Sara is heavily focused, and quite in love with, music photography and creative portraiture. Shooting both digital and analogue Sara enjoys exploring new techniques to communicate the energy, emotions, and experiences of her subjects.

Social norms or stigmas are something she seeks to deconstruct, or discuss, through her work. In camera effects on film are a favourite means of exploration. Published in several arts / music based magazines, and recently having begun a personal blog, music journalism is also a focus for Sara as she recognizes the incredible value that a city’s art scene has towards the vitality and quality of life for its occupants.

    PORTFOLIO

I’m Emma, a Calgary-based photographer with Irish roots, an observant eye, and appreciation for the in-between moments. My work lives at the intersection of fine art and documentary. I work with a multitude of individuals from many different walks of life, from individuals seeking meaningful and natural portraiture to small businesses in need of expressive, editorial-style imagery.

Rooted in fine art, informed by documentary practice, my photography explores themes of identity, creativity, and emotion; transforming visual moments into evocative pieces that tell layered stories. I’m endlessly drawn to natural light, texture, and the subtle interactions between people and place. My artistic background informs every frame, whether I’m shooting personal commissions or creating new work for exhibition.

    PORTFOLIO

I left my career in STEM to pursue creativity and get closer to what makes each person unique.

I specialize in headshots and portraits, and hope to capture as much of my subjects' personalities as possible. Empathy and genuine connection are at the core of my creative philosophy, so I aim to take the time to get to know the people I work with.

I believe that emotion brings depth to a photograph and it's my goal that, through my lens, my clients discover a side of themselves they haven't seen before.
